Reference Standards

Horizon Discovery’s reference standards are derived from real cell lines, to ensure that they more closely match clinical samples. They also contain a wide variety of genomic variants. Their cancer reference standard OncoSpan, provided as genomic DNA, includes 386 variants across 152 key cancer genes, which is the largest number of genes in any commercial reference standard to date. They have developed a range of cell-free DNA Reference Standards, derived from cell lines, to closely mimic patient samples. With low allelic frequencies, down to 0.1%, these Reference Standards are ideal to optimize and validate your liquid biopsy assays.
